When we kept a reef aquarium years
ago, we had several of these worms in residence
and we called them the "Reel 'Em In Guys". They feed by putting
out a sticky mucus
strand (seen here toward the right) and the strand acts as a net catching tiny
pizzas
and cheeseburgers that the worm later reels in and eats.
Taken with Nexus housed Nikon F4
through a 105 micro, TC201 2x teleconverter and a 4T
diopter. Light from one Ikelite 200 substrobe and one SB105 Nikonos
Strobe. On Velvia.
